9 STORY ENTERTAINMENT (www.9story.com) -ANIMATOR Jan 2004 – Jan 2007,
Nov 2011 - Jan 2012
Digital
Animation Artist for 3 seasons of the Emmy Award Winning ( Season 1)
and Emmy Nominated (Seasons 2 & 3) series PEEP AND THE BIG WIDE
WORLD, and 2 seasons of the Gemini nominated JACOB TWO-TWO.
My
time at 9Story was a period of tremendous growth, where I had a chance
to learn about the T.V. Animation pipeline from some very talented
people. Over my time there, I saw myself develop from having individual
scenes to entire sequences that were cohesive and entertaining. One of
my proudest moments was when I was asked to animate the opening sequence
of the first episode of the third season of Peep and the Big Wide World.
In Fall 2011- Early 2012, I worked on Season Five of MAX & RUBY as a freelance animator.
Freelance Digital Animation Artist (Flash) working
from provided animatics to develop final character animation for ING
Direct Canada's "THE MONEY MOVEMENT", a series of animated spots which
teach people how to save their money!
The Money Movement - Don't Get Bear Trapped!
The Money Movement - Compound Interest!

Digital
Animation Artist for 3 Seasons of the Gemini Nominated series TOTAL
DRAMA ISLAND (Fresh T.V. Production), and 2 seasons of YIN YANG YO(
Disney/Jetix).
Elliott’s
was a time of greater confidence in a challenging work environment to
execute quality animation on a consistent basis. As an animator on a
crew, I saw it as a responsibility to not only do my assigned 50-60
seconds per week, but where necessary, point out to my supervisors any
inconsistencies in storyboards or designs that I felt would hamper
production for the team.
When available, I would do anywhere between 10-30 sec’s of freelance footage for a given episode.
Creative
problem solving to push the boundaries of Flash or deal with
substandard storyboards was used constantly to translate the director’s
vision to the small screen.
